About the Mariological Days Medjugorje
A Unique Place for the Intellectual and Spiritual Formation

The Mariological Days Medjugorje (MDM) are a new format for encountering and exploring the Church’s faith in the Blessed Virgin Mary in Medjugorje. In this place of Our Lady’s special presence, we offer an opportunity for Mariological intellectual and spiritual formation: to deepen our understanding the Catholic Church’s teaching on the Virgin Mary, and to adopt the criteria for the genuine Marian devotion and spirituality.

Mary holds an important place in the faith and in the life of the Church. As the Mother of God, she participates in a unique way in God’s work of human salvation. As the Mother of the Church, she is connected to all believers, accompanying them with her guidance and intercession.

At this inaugural gathering, we will study the Mariology of the Second Vatican Council. It was this Council that placed Mary at the very heart of the Church and salvation history, presenting her to us as the ultimate model of a living, active faith in both our personal and public lives.

We warmly invite priests, catechists, theologians, religious brothers and sisters, students, and all interested pilgrims to discover the importance of the Second Vatican Council’s message about the Blessed Virgin Mary for our modern times through lectures, workshops, panel discussions, shared experiences, and a prayer program.
